Overview

Throughout my career as an architect and sustainability consultant, I have supported the integration of sustainability principles into architectural, urban, and infrastructure-related projects across Latin America and the Caribbean. I have collaborated on initiatives supported by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, helping projects align with international sustainability standards and responsible development practices. My work includes developing sustainability strategies, environmental and social impact assessments, climate resilience approaches, carbon and water footprint analyses, environmental management plans, and ESG-related recommendations. I have also contributed to green building certification processes, including EDGE, and advised multidisciplinary teams on improving environmental performance, regulatory compliance, and long-term project resilience. With over 10 years of professional experience and a Master's degree in Sustainable Architecture and Environmental Management Systems, I combine technical expertise with practical, context-specific solutions that create measurable environmental and social value for clients and communities.

CEDIMUJER Santiago

More than 6 month
The “Center for the Integral Development of Women (CEDIMU)” in Santiago was developed in response to the Dominican State’s initiative to establish a new institution dedicated to supporting women in vulnerable conditions. The program focuses on sexual and reproductive health services, adolescent support, economic empowerment, and assistance for victims of domestic violence. The complex also integrates an early childhood support facility for children from newborn to seven (7) years of age. Additional program components include cafeterias, general services, storage facilities, a school dining hall, and administrative areas. The project is located in the “La Otra Banda” sector in Santiago de los Caballeros on a 15,000 m plot with irregular topography. The project achieved EDGE green building certification.
